Obamacare Must Go or Chaos Will Reign

Friends, we knew that the Supreme Court's shocking decision to uphold Obamacare was an exercise in unconstitutional lawmaking. As the months pass, the effects of this far-reaching law are multiplying and will soon result in more joblessness as businesses rush to avoid bankruptcy by reducing employees' hours and laying off more people.

Just last week, we discovered that jobless rates in America are rising as small businesses scurry to get under 50 employees to avoid having to provide the costly insurance.  For the first time in history, an American President has managed to directly disincentivize job growth in America!

But it's even more serious than that. In an April 7 article on Forbes.com, "Look Out Below, the Obamacare Chaos Is Coming," Peter Ferrara warns that despite Barack Obama's promise that "if you like your health insurance, you can keep it," the system is engineered for destruction – on purpose.

Despite rhetoric to the contrary, I believe the goal of Obamacare has always been to drive everyone into a single-payer, government system.  Once that goal is achieved – and it is about to be achieved – Big Brother Government will control every citizen who wills to live and find medical care.  Only the lion-hearted will escape the tyranny to come, at the peril of their own lives ... IF WE DON'T WAKE UP NOW!

That's why TeaPartyUnity.org exists; to find and unite free and concerned Americans to rise up and do something before it's too late.  Obama's nationwide tour touting gun control is a subterfuge to keep you from focusing on the real threat to our freedoms –Obamacare and the economic collapse that it WILL cause if it's not reversed.

"Just wait until the broad realization dawns that the harsh reality of Obamacare is that tens of millions will lose their employer provided insurance because of the perverse incentives under the program," Mr. Ferrara writes. "Even the establishment Congressional Budget Office admits that at least 7 million, and as many as 20 million, will lose their employer coverage...."

"Employers can terminate their employee coverage, give their workers a raise with part of the savings, and let the taxpayers bear the cost of subsidizing their coverage in the Exchanges. Former CBO Director Douglas Holtz-Eakin estimated in a study for the American Action Forum that more than 40 million workers would lose their employer coverage due to these perverse incentives."

When these formerly covered employees flood the government's system, the costs will rise astronomically. For many who are buying their own private health insurance, premiums are expected to double.

"Obama campaigned in 2008 on a promise that Obamacare would reduce the cost of health insurance by $2,500 for average families," Mr. Ferrara writes. "But since Obamacare passed, the cost of an average family policy has already increased by $3,000."

As for Medicare, cuts specified in Obamacare will cause more doctors to drop Medicare patients, as is already happening.

"Obamacare is going to be causing chaos for seniors as well," Ferrara writes. "As National Center for Policy Analysis President John Goodman points out in his health policy blog on March 25, almost half of Obamacare is paid for over the next decade by draining $716 billion out of Medicare.

"'The Medicare Office of the Actuaries has included two graphs in the latest Medicare Trustees report showing what this will mean. These graphs — which have never appeared in the mainstream media or even been referred to by the mainstream media — show Medicare doctors' fees dropping below Medicaid fees in the near future and falling progressively behind Medicaid and private sector payments, indefinitely into the future.'"

As a result, "One out of seven hospitals will leave Medicare in the next seven years, say the actuaries, and beyond that things just get worse and worse. Access to care will become a huge issue as waiting times to see doctors and enter hospitals grows.... From a financial point of view, seniors will be less attractive to doctors than welfare mothers.'"

Friends, the only bright spot here is the opportunity to recruit more people to the Tea Party's cause of restoring limited government. As 2014 approaches, Mr. Ferrara notes,

"The biggest political problem faced by so-called 'liberals' and so-called 'progressives' in President Obama's second term is how to prevent voters from holding them politically responsible as the public comes to realize how badly they were lied to during the first Obama term to win passage of Obamacare."

You might want to give your congressman and senators a call to see why they keep voting to fund Obamacare. The Capitol Hill switchboard is (202) 224 3121.

Please join us on Thursday, April 11 for our next conference call, with American Family Association founder Don Wildmon, who will discuss The War on Christians. Note the time in the evening, which we hope will be more convenient for callers.
